There is nothing more discouraging than to buy a brand new pair of slippers and realize once you get home, they are a disturbance to all around you.
If you have never had this experience you may think I’m exaggerating, but to those of you that have, you know exactly what I’m talking about. Most would say that hardwood or tile floors are usually the number one culprit, but are they really?
I mean, yes they may not be ideal as far as keeping the noise down, but they are excellent flooring choices in general and certainly not something you want to change out, just to avoid a little (or a lot) of noise, do you? I didn’t think so.
Thus, there must be a better solution to this annoying little problem, am I right? Yes, there is.
Instead of looking for the next area rug to lay down on those expensive floors, why not find a slipper that will still provide everything you want in the common shoe, but will also satisfy your downstairs neighbors?
