Uggs are one of the top brands in footwear these days and for good reason- they have come a long way in regards to their very generic, dare we say ugly, boot wildly popular in the early 2000’s.
Though they may not be the cutest looking shoe out there, they were popular due to the quality of the product and, let’s face it, the simplicity of it.
Back then you knew what you were getting when you bought an UGG boot, a mid-calf squared off, one-colored look.
Today they have definitely made some improvements to this style, but they many women would agree, that they aren’t necessarily the *cutest* boots out there.
So I have done some research and have personally selected 7 boots like UGGs but cuter!
7 Of The Best Boots Like UGGs But Cuter
Here is a quick preview of my top 7 picks…
- APHNUS Womens Mid Calf Boots Cow Leather Fur Snow Boots
- Helly Hansen Women’s W Alexandra 2-W Cold Weather Boot
- Reneeze Rose-10 Women Fashion Mid-Calf Winter Snow Boots Faux Fur Lining
- BEARPAW Women’s Phylly Boot
- Kingshow Women’s Globalwin Waterproof Winter Boots (UGG Women’s Adirondack II Winter Boot)
- Skechers Women’s Grand Jams Unlimited Boot (UGG Women’s Elvia Boot)
- MUK LUKS Women’s Miranda Winter Boot (UGG classic Cardy boot)
First off, let me just say, I personally love the UGGS brand and think that they still provide some of the best products in the boot category.
However, I am a girl that prides myself on fashion, and I don’t always think that the standard UGG boot provides the look that I (and many other women) are looking for. If I’m going to be wearing a fashion boot, I want it to be just that-fashion, and while UGG has definitely improved in their fashionable options, many of their styles don’t scream “cute”.
Thus, I have found some great alternatives, some around the same price range, others a lot cheaper, to prove to you (and myself) that there are other options that are way cuter.

APHNUS Womens Mid Calf Boots Cow Leather Fur Snow Boots
This first option comes from Aphnus and is a mid-calf snow boot. Now I personally LOVE these. They definitely have that UGG vibe that we all want, but with an over-the-top fur design, making these go from simple to high-fashion very quickly.
The fur is very nicely placed on the brim of the boot and easily cascades down to really accentuate your outfit. Imagine pulling these off with a pair of dark skinny jeans? You see what I mean?!
The fur really takes these otherwise plain-jane boots to very cute and sophisticated. They come in both black and brown, great choices for any outfit and the fur is a combination of rabbit and raccoon fur, meaning your tootsies will most definitely be spared any winter blues.
In fact, they are so warm, some have said that they may be too warm if you don’t live in a winter climate! I’d say a great buy for the price!
Helly Hansen Women’s W Alexandra 2-W Cold Weather Boot
Remember Helly Hansen? You know, the winter-wear brand that all the kids in high school were wearing? Well if you are anything like me, you certainly remember, but perhaps you didn’t realize they also made boots?
Indeed they not only make boots, but they make some super cute looking boots at that! I absolutely love these Alexandra 2-W cold weather boots. Once again, they are a take on the original classic UGG boot, but offer a way more stylish look.
Available in 5, two-toned suede and waterproof leather designs, they are the perfect choice for boots like UGGS, (but cuter!) Why you may ask?
Well not only do they come in a variety of color options, they also feature a sleek, visible metal zip, a stylish buckle on the back and a super cute faux fur rim to keep you warm on those cold fall days.
Oh and with the Hellygrip rubber sole, you’ll be sure to get the grip you’d want in any cold weather boot.
Reneeze Rose-10 Women Fashion Mid-Calf Winter Snow Boots Faux Fur Lining
My next pick for boots like UGGS, but cuter are these Rose-10 mid-calf boots by Reneeze. With a similar look to the Helly Hansen’s above, these also bring a little more spice than your average UGG boot.
The fur edge is cute and classy and the 1 inch heel adds a bit more height, keeping your feet that much warmer on those cold days.
With a wide step-in circumference as well, you won’t have any problems getting in or out of these, even if you tend to have a larger calf. But my favorite part about these winter boots, and why they are cuter than your average UGG, is the adjustable cord that wraps around the upper part of each boot.
Not only is this a neat design feature, with the loose beads adding a bit of flair, but it’s very functional as well.
Choose from a mix of colors, these Reneeze Rose-10’s are sure to add character to any cold-weather outfit.
BEARPAW Women’s Phylly Boot
Bearpaw also provides some great alternatives to UGGS and the Phylly boot is one of them. Modeling a sleek design, the Phylly boot also comes with a jagged rubber sole, adding a little more style to the typical flat base.
They also are made of rubber, so they not only look a bit more interesting but are very useful in gaining good traction on those slippery sidewalks as well. Constructed of cow suede and a wool blend inner lining, these Bearpaw boots meet all the standards of a well-rounded shoe.
But what makes them cuter than your standard UGG?
The design on the back.
Yes, the beautiful lace-like detail on the rear part of the boot really brings these otherwise understated boots to a refined showpiece. Available in several neutral colors, be sure to pick up a pair of these in your size before they are gone!
So, as I mentioned before, UGG is starting to come out of its (sheepskin) shell more than ever before, as they have started to offer us a bit more options in the boot department. In other words, the classic UGG boot now has some new friends.
So with that new realization, it was necessary to find some cuter alternatives to these new, perhaps minimized designs as well.
For example, if you like the idea of the Adirondack II Winter Boot by UGG, the Elvia boot or the Classic Cardy boot, but would like a cuter take one each set, check out my hand-picked selections below.
Kingshow Women’s Globalwin Waterproof Winter Boots (UGG Women’s Adirondack II Winter Boot)
UGG’s Adirondack II winter boots are definitely a nice boot, but I would say they lack a bit in the “uniqueness” department, meaning they aren’t quite as cute as they could be. No worries though, Kingshow makes a similar style, yet with a way broader selection of colors and designs.
It is the Kingshow Globalwin Waterproof Winter Boots, and I think you are going to love them.
In fact, each brim is uniquely designed with a faux-fur, depending on which style you choose. They also feature a lace-up front, meaning you can easily adjust them to your personal comfort level.
The sole is durable and has a good grip to keep you from falling on those icy walkways. The inner lining is said to be very comfortable and will keep your feet warm on those sunless days.
Available in over 20 (!) designs, these Globalwin boots are worth checking out if you want a cute alternative to the Adirondack II.
Skechers Women’s Grand Jams Unlimited Boot (UGG Women’s Elvia Boot)
Next on my list are these Grand Jams unlimited boots by Skechers. First off, you can’t go wrong with Skechers. They live up to the name they have become known for comfort, and are constantly coming out with new styles, cuter than the last.
So when it comes to finding boots like UGGs, but cuter, you have to check out what Skechers has to offer. For example, the Elvia boot by UGG is certainly a likable boot, but it is lacking in it’s appeal.
Yet these Skechers Grand Jams Unlimited make up for that. Unlike the UGGs that feature a very plain upper, these Grand Jams Unlimited nicely accent their upper with a (fake) fur trim and suede design.
They also display a handy ¾ length zip, which not only makes them easy to get in and out of, but also allows you to fold over the top segment, turning these longer boots, into a short boot in no time. The rubber outsole also is a plus, as it provides a decent grip on most surfaces.
Available in black, brown and a light tan, these super cute alternatives are a no-brainer.
MUK LUKS Women’s Miranda Winter Boot (UGG classic Cardy boot)
These Muk Luks Miranda winter boots are my choice for a Classic Cardy look, but cuter. They have the same knit upper look to them, but with a bit more style in my personal taste. While the Classic Cardy boot has a very plain knit design, these Miranda boots provide a lot more interest to an already cute boot.
The knit pattern is a lot more appealing to the eye and with the 5 button detail down the side, they add length to any leg (something every girl wants, am I right?!).
The rubber sole goes nicely with all 3 colors and the tiny platform-like heel gives you that extra lift you’re looking for, without feeling like you’re wearing a boot with heels.
Coming up right around the knee area, these adorable knit boots look great with jeans or can even be worn with a cute dress, proving they are a great accessory to any outfit.
Well, there you have it, ladies. My personal take on boots like uggs but cuter (and in some cases, WAY cuter!) How about you? Have you found any cute alternatives to UGGs? If so let me know if the comments below!
